Collin's Boys

During Collin Bilson's six years in and out of the Two Hundred, he developed a fairly solid team, most of whom had served together since the early days at Momaar's Folly and went on to prove themselves in the Witsie War sea strike.

"The Originals": the Momaar's Folly crowd

A motley band of rookies and old-timers when they first made each other's acquaintance, this group, tested under the watchful eye of First Traveler Ichor, cut their teeth on fighting the Green and went on to earn themselves solid places as one of the sixteen teams in the Two Hundred.

  • Weenzal the Red Tweak: After getting in by the skin of his teeth despite the superiors' thinking he might be too old, he's been appointed Collin's semi-permanent backman.
  • Edder the Mindlock (retired): Another old vet, served as second "li" during the Witsie War and did well by the group, who all attended his grand sendoff to the warrens as part of the post-clash celebrations on Westile.
  • Siddiddius of the Empire: Roundabout Collin's age, started as team spearman. A solid fighter, and served as part of Edder's squad in the team's next incarnation; killed during one of the early clashes in the Witsie War strike.
  • Stum of Garin's Stop: Made up part of Joed's squad in the Folly, and went on to become Edder's back man in the Witsie War and the new li after his retirement. Killed at Blackstone Castle.
  • Karbon of Southmarch: The second member of Joed's squad. Killed somewhere in the intervening years between the Folly and the start of Witsie War preparations.
  • Zinnad of the Citadel: Although his earliest identity was as "Joed's kid," Zinnad fell in with Collin's squad during the Witsie War training, becoming part of the "Ronish crowd" and of particular note due to the hawk on his arm. Killed at Blackstone Castle.
  • Ozzotto of Wei: Lavinia's crony and compatriot, the other member of the team who was forbidden from going to join in with the Green-killing in the Deadlands. Has done well for herself in the intervening years; now a bayon in the Two Hundred and a Called member of the House of Flight.

Witsie War Additions

Again, a combination of newcomers and old reliables, designed to support Collin as bayon with Lavinia and Edder as his first and second li.

  • "Dirt" Luda: A tough old vet, unofficial "third li" in the witsie conflict and assigned alongside Edder to keep an eye on the "kids." Held the team together while Collin and Lavinia were gone. Killed at Blackstone Castle.
  • Frogboy of Harrisport: Came in as a green kid when the group first assembled in Harrisport, and proved himself on the ships. One of the very few to make it out of Blackstone in one piece.
  • Inkin the Red Tweak: Weenzal's stooge, a kid, also tattooed. Killed in the first Witsie War skirmish.
  • Vuul the Good: An old pro; the team talker/conciliator.
  • "Bad Ladee": Another old pro: the team interrogator. Distinguished herself in the fighting.
  • Gufu Gufudottir of the City: Served as Lavinia's backwoman through the Witsie clash, and fell solidly back in with her when Lavinia rejoined the team early in 114. Killed at Blackstone Castle.
  • Oquidian of the Northwest: A wild lock; talked about leaving when the group began to disband, but ended up staying put through the fighting at Blackstone.
  • "Li'e'" Sou: Luda's right hand and backwoman. Cut from the same mold; a tough, down-to-earth type and a solid fighter.
  • Wendel: Another crony of Luda's. Killed in the early days at Blackstone.
  • Bluehawk of Gollywog: A Cloine; a good fighter, but not "solid". In fact, he's long been famous for getting knocked around (the hazard of being big, bulky and weightless).

After Blackstone

In the seasons after the near-massacre at Blackstone, when Collin and Lavinia began making their plans to return to the Faye and a (slightly) quieter life, they were granted a detachment of "the boys" to come along. Besides Weenzal and Frogboy, this group may encompass a few others, but for the most part, the survivors are going to be re-incorporated into other teams.
